After several years as AskNicely's CEO, Kirsten Newbold-Knipp has passed the baton to Tony Ward.

During her time as CEO, Kirsten was vital in helping AskNicely rebuild, pioneer AI-driven innovation with NiceAI, refine messaging and pricing, and increase the value AskNicely delivers to customers.

“We've started Q1 this year strong and momentum is building – with this solid foundation in place, I’m handing the reins to Tony Ward, an independent board director I recruited, whose background in partnerships and strategic investments is ideal for the company’s next chapter,” Kirsten said.

Last year, Tony joined AskNicely’s board and acted as the interim VP of Sales. All of this, plus his extensive career in B2B SaaS, has helped prepare him for his new role as CEO. Tony will lead AskNicely as it continues to focus on building an excellent customer experience management platform. With a focus on innovation and growth, the team is constantly looking to play to win for customers.

AskNicely is the only customer experience platform built for service businesses to turn feedback into growth. Designed for distributed teams, it helps businesses reduce churn by turning customer feedback into fast, purposeful action. With AI-powered surveys, tailored coaching, progress tracking, and public recognition, AskNicely makes continuous improvement a habit for every service team.

“I’m honored and excited to continue my journey at AskNicely working in this new capacity. Since Kirsten asked me to join last year, I knew we had a real opportunity to help business leaders understand how focusing on the customer experience drives retention, revenue, and growth,” said Tony.
